The room at Tropical Palms was perfect for our family. It had a cozy seating area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player, which made us feel right at home.

One thing that we personally didn't like was that the room didn't have the capacity for additional guests. However, we understand that this might not be an issue for everyone.

The hosts at this resort were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and well-appointed, and having a microwave and cutlery made it convenient for meals. The location, with a bus stop nearby, made it easy to explore the island. I highly recommend this resort for a great experience.

The highlight of this hotel is the huge collection of DVDs available to borrow at the reception, perfect for a cozy night in.

This hotel definitely needs a renovation. The outdated furniture and general lack of modernisation in the facilities made for a less than comfortable stay.

The resort had a safe and clean shaded area for our children to play in, and the pool was well-maintained and shaded during the hottest parts of the day. The room was immaculately clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we ever travel back to Magnetic Island.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if the resort had a small convenience store on-site to cater to the needs of families with children.

The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities provided, including a full fridge and stove top with well-equipped kitchenware. The location was very convenient, being close to shops, the jetty, and scenic walks. The gardens and pool were beautiful, and there was a great area for BBQ and drinks in the afternoons.

The parking was a bit of a hassle, as it wasn't as close to the room as we have experienced elsewhere. However, everything else about the hotel made up for it, and we would definitely stay here again for a relaxing holiday.
